My Community, Our Community.
We provide short-time assistance to individuals who require human guide assistance to complete certain mobility tasks. These tasks are not of repetitive nature and individuals may not want extensive training to perform them independently.
We also offer human guide training to neighbouring organizations and agencies who require assistance in accommodating employees who are blind or have low vision as well as helping travellers with vision loss.
In Ottawa, we view ourselves as a unified community, and if we are unable to address your concerns, we will do our best to direct you to the appropriate services within our community. Additionally, we actively refer our clients to community resources that can greatly benefit them in various areas.
